What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle, natural healing practice that harnesses the power of spiritually guided life force energy to promote balance and wellbeing. The word “Reiki” comes from two Japanese words:

  • Rei, meaning “God’s Wisdom” or “Higher Power”

  • Ki, meaning “life force energy.”

Together, Reiki means “spiritually guided life force energy.” While Reiki is deeply spiritual in nature, it is not affiliated with any religion, making it accessible to everyone regardless of belief.

What to Expect from a Reiki Treatment:

A Reiki session feels like a soothing, glowing radiance flowing through and around you. Treatments are performed while you relax comfortably on a massage table, fully clothed. The gentle touch of Reiki supports healing on all levels: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
